International Polysaccharide Engineering Inc. (IPE) is a university spin-off founded in 2003, with roots in Osaka Prefecture University, a predecessor of Osaka Metropolitan University. Through proprietary purification technologies, IPE provides a unique portfolio of rare and otherwise difficult-to-obtain polysaccharide reference standards.

We advance collaborative R&D that generates intellectual property and scientific achievements. Building on our broad expertise in polysaccharide science and technology, our capabilities also extend to food science, including starch quality evaluation and food aroma analysis.
